Ceramic is one of the most common types of heating element available in the market nowadays. Ceramic can be considered as the most cleanest and therefore the healthiest options available after considering their proponents. As ceramic can withstand a very high temperature of about 3000*F before it gets transformed into a gas. This makes it a healthier option as compared to other heating elements which have low boiling points and assist to make a conclusion regarding them that they are dirty and less healthy.

Another consideration for the quality of the unit of ceramic must be made when evaluating vaporizers with ceramic heating elements. The term ceramic is generally used to describe the types of elements that are quite different in design.
Whether or not a unit can consist of some ceramic inside the design of heating elements, it doesn’t mean that the air only touches the ceramic material. This makes the task of buying the vaporizers with ceramic heating element difficult, unless well aware about the designs used by each manufacturer. We can consider a general rule of thumb for this is that cases of emitting toxins are more in case of cheaper vaporizers as they are exposed to low quality wire within ceramic heating element structure.
The only definitive test can be made by taking an element completely apart to see how it is constructed. These questions sometimes are also addressed by some of the manufacturers if you contact them, whereas the low quality manufacturers will dodge them.
A well designed ceramic element is very clean, but it is unfortunate that low quality ceramic elements reflect in a poor manner on all ceramic elements. Although precision is also the function of the computer chip technology and circuitry used with heating elements, certain ceramic heating elements are precise too.
Hotbox, Phedor, VaporBrothers are few examples of vaporizer made up of ceramic heating elements.
